Your thoughts on Melissa: Melissa was my best friend through it all. She ws there for me whenever I needed her. It wasn't until middle school that I realized how much I really liked her as a girlfriend. We did some things that we regret now, and I still don't know why she ever got so mad at me for it. I wish there was something I could do to change it back to the way it used to be, but now she has a husband and a kid by him, so I doubt that could ever happen.
Melissa's thoughts: "I am still so very much in love with JR. I could never get over him. Looking back, I was sure that I was doing the right thing by letting him go. And I threw a fit at him, pretending to be angry because I knew it was the only way he'd believe me that it was over. I couldn't let him see how it was tearing me up inside. Letting him go still remains the hardest thing I've ever done. I wonder all the time what he's up to. If I could just know that he's happy and accomplished his dreams, maybe letting him go wasn't all for nothing. He's probably married by now. Or at least in a serious relationship. And I truly hope that he's happy."
